I'm recalling a movie... It was based on a book by some famous dude's novels on which Rainbow Six is based.. Hmmm. Oh yeah, The Sum of All Fears. That famous dude is a pretty good psychologist and military analyst. As I recall, when the coup attacked the Americans not under the Russian president's leadership, he was pressed to claim responsibility as a sign of "not weakness" and "stability within Russia's military".

I'm no hardcore moviegoer, analyst of any sort, psychologist, psychiatrist, pediatritian... but I think Tom Clancy might know the minds of such people better than you, or I.

Well from all the news reports on TV, the newspapers, and the radio, I keep hearing all the doctors saying this guy has a split personality, is schizophrenic, and all that.

Now having known a schizo all my life (my dad's friend who's brain got fucked by cocaine) whom I've also had live with me for 3 years, I know how they are. And lemme tell you, they're nuts. I wouldn't doubt that Moussaoui is being used to make it seem like he's a terrorist.

This guy I'm talking about, we call him Crazy Joe. He used to think he was Hitler. He'd march around town in a Nazi uniform waving a Nazi flag on Halloween spouting all sorts of things literally mimicking him. He thought he was Hitler rebirthed. He would also have conversations with himself, that were pretty darn intellectual as if he were some British English professor (despite him not being British yet he had the voice). Also early on when I was a kid, he would claim to be some top secret nuclear scientist and at night he'd scream about as if being tortured and would yell crap like "the secret codes are... zero.. zero.. x.." etc etc. He really believed all that shit and he actually reinacted and lived it.

So if Moussaoui actually has a split personality and is schizo like Crazy Joe I know, what Moussaoui says and how he acts is the exact same as him. So the government finds this whacko and this guy is basically acting perfectly like the scapegoat or patsy they need. Hell, I could probably find some whacko who thinks he's a terrorist and can act and say all kinds of stuff to actually sound like one, but that wouldn't mean he actually is one. From what the doctors have said, I wouldn't doubt the government exploiting his fucked up mind for their cause to hide whatever they need to hide or keep him around to fuel and keep the whole War on Terror going.

Oh yeah, and when 9/11 happened, (this was part of the 3 years he was living with me), I woke him up and told him to put on the TV and watch the news. He said "good" and some other crazy thing which I cussed him the hell out for, that sounded like he could have been a terrorist, especially the shit I've known him saying before in the past. These types of people are friggin freaky as hell and they are who they say they are, even if they not be. So yep, I wouldn't doubt Moussaoui not being a terrorist and is just putting on one hell of a show. The doctors on the stand seem to think it.

Heh, and I won't even bother talking about the whacko who works at one of the numerous stores I go to each week. That guy's also split personality and a schizo. Each time I see him, he's yelling about his wife one moment, then later on he'll throw on his southern black female voice, then another he's actin like some drag queen, another he'll cuss and shout insults at female coworkers. He's also used as the time guy to let everyone know when their breaks and lunch are, despite him not having a watch, because he has it all clicking in his mind and knows exactly when to call out and let people know. Friggin nutty people.

Moussaoui says he wishes more had died on 9/11It's hard to understand how that could be possible. They hit the WTC towers in exactly the right spot to make them collapse. If they were a few stories higher or lower the death toll would have only been in the hundreds. The third plane was aiming at the Pentagon and hit it. The building is not very tall and is surrounded by acres of parking lots so not many more casualties could have occurred there. The fourth one was probably heading for either the White House, which doesn't contain a lot of people and is surrounded by greenspace, or the Capitol Building. The Capitol might have had a couple of thousand people inside depending on what was going on in Congress at the moment, but it has a large footprint like the Pentagon and it would be difficult to wipe out the entire building.

All in all, to just judge the endeavor dispassionately on the basis of how well it accomplished its mission, I don't think they could have expected to have done much better than that.

I only make two exceptions to my opposition to capital punishment. The first is rapists because I don't believe they are capable of being reformed and some day somebody will let them out of prison so they can do it again. The second is organized terrorists because it's highly likely that their organization will kidnap a bunch of our people and threaten to kill them if we don't turn their guy loose.

I am not very well versed in history, but I think another terrorist, long ago was quite willing to die for his cause. He said, just before being hung, I think it was,:

"I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country."

He is usually called a hero, not a terrorist, but mainly because his side won the war. If you want a good place in the history books - it helps a lot to be on the side that wins, even if you get killed by the loser's temporary controll of the conflict. If Hitler had won WWII, most of Europe would be singing his praises today, I bet.

Exterminating a whole culture; I.e. killing all its people, is no impediment to glory. - Unfortunately you can not confirm this by asking any of the dozens of now extinct indian (US, not Asian ones) cultures my forefathers exterminated. - Handing out blankets taken off scarlet fever killed corpses was very effective in taking care of one tribe - easier and cheaper than bullets, but they worked well too.

Osama Bin Laden is a engineer, and the lap top, recovered from Abdul Murad showed that they knew exactly were to crash the plane's into the towers to cause the most damage, and that the choice of comercal airliners was because of the fule load wich would create enough heat for a long enough time period to cause the steel support structure to loss tensile strength leading to structural failure of the buildings. And Moussaoui was trying to become a maryter, and I think the jury out fox him.

I didn't diagnose anything over the boob tube. The doctors questioned on the stand during the trial said he was a split-personality schizo. As usual, you'll choose to ignore that.
