Got to spend some time out at our bike park and do some riding this weekend and one day during the week, and got some decent footage. I'll still need to get some more footage to piece a quality clip together, but in the meantime, I scrapped these pieces together until I can get more footage.

Nice work man. Awesome building and solid riding.

These past two weeks I haven't been getting out as much as I'd like, but I'm hoping to start riding a lot again soon.

I did hit up Whistler for 3 days though at the very end of May. That was awesome.

Yeah. It's soooo fun. That place has been well worth the (literally) hundreds of hours Kenny and I have put into it.
Believe it or not, we've spent all of about $300 on all that...and most of that has been for the screws. 95% of that lumber was free.
I wanted to blast some more tweaked whips off the launch but it was soooo hut and HUMID that day that my gloves (I use NFL receiver gloves) were losing grip from all the sweat/moisture in the air.
It poured here today so I don't know if I'll be able to ride on Sat. If not, I will just try to finish the dirt jump double we've been working on.

    Oh you have no idea.
I can't wait until we get our 'Bakers' Dozen' drop built.
To give you an idea of it, the very last drop I went off in that vid is our '9 Lives Drop'. It is 9 feet (thus the name) off the ground, with about a 7 foot gap between it and the landing ramp.
The Bakers Dozen drop will be about 13 feet off the ground with probably an 11 or 12 foot gap between it and the lander.

You're a downhiller VI, would you try any of this stuff?

You are a punk, punk ass bitch. You know that? You suck balls for being so close to Whistler when I'm not.
If you ever find yourself in this area, hit me up. We can go to Windrock (Google it). I'm sure you'd quite enjoy that.
Besides WR, and it's even more of a DH trail, there is no FR type trail anywhere close to here. I mean the kind with a bit of elevation, at least a mile or two of distance/flow.

Very cool mike.........Shit my older one would have a blast there.
He loves dirt biking at the cottage and at home going to the BMX park
doing tricks. It would be really cool if there was something like that around here.

    Yeah.

I was gonna get a Blindside, but I can't fucking afford one :bawl::bawl::bawl:.

So I'm looking for something less expensive.

    Aww, that really sucks VI.

I saw a Norco Vixa first hand, when I helped the girl that had bailed on Whistler carry it down the mountain. Seemed like a really nice bike, and she was happy with it.

Here's the latest incarnation of my Blindside.

That sooooo looks like the Bottlerocket's bigger brother.
I took it out on a relatively beginner level XC trail yesterday and aside from the chain consistently hopping off the top of the chainring (don't have a retainer pulley wheel on the top like I do on the bottom) whenever I'd go over a rough section, it did pretty dang well. Aside from that particular XC trail though, I won't be taking it on any other XC trails.
