Lamb's brains are eaten all over the ME and parts of Europe, not only in India. Now, in China, they eat raw monkey's brains straight out of the almost alive skull.
I knew a Turkish who loved brain of lamb, said it went well with lemon. Almost want to try it now.. Anyways, organ meats are supposed to be healthy. As far as extreme delicacies, I would have to say fresh RAW monkey brain
They give you sheep brain and eyes if you're an important guest in Azerbaijan. Maybe Kazhakstan, Turkmenistan, too. Be warned - you've got to eat it not to cause offence. The Chinese eat anything with it's back facing the sky and anything that flies, so that's a fair few animals. Animal penises supposedly increase virility, so dog's penis and more exotic animals, like tiger, knobs are eaten. Tiger costs a pretty penny - probably a thousand dollars or more. Some BBC article that talked about that kind of thing said that the businessmen who went to a restaurant to eat tigers penis also had an aborted reindeer foetus. I prefer pasta myself =/
I've tried lamb's brains, they're not bad but I couldn't really eat a lot of it. However, sheeps tongue and cheeks are quite delicious.
Cannibals have a taste for delicacies... according to them lol but, i'll just go with monkey brains too... that's just gross lol
