The mark of Zeno
In the fifth century BC, the Greek philosopher Zeno proposed a series of logical paradoxes that demonstrate the impossibility of motion. Almost two and a half thousand years later, scientists discovered a curious phenomenon that now bears his name — the quantum Zeno effect — in which certain systems will not change state if they are constantly observed. Now it seems that this effect (and its recently discovered converse, the anti-Zeno effect) can be understood simply as a particular instance of quantum propagation.

Zeno and anti-Zeno effects in multimode parametric down-conversion
ALFREDO LUIS
We present a simple multimode analysis of the Zeno and anti-Zeno effects in spontaneous parametric down-conversion. In this process the input vacuum is an unstable state decaying into a reservoir of down-converted modes by emitting a pair of photons. We show that the Zeno and the anti-Zeno effects are two particular examples of quantum propagation depending on the effective spectrum of down-converted modes. We show that this evolution can be easily tailored on demand and that these quantum phenomena admit a very simple explanation in terms of standard interference concepts.

A completely seperate theory, well proven, I believe, says that you can either know thte location or the speed of a particle, but not both.
