If you're one of those given to prayer, now might be the time. If not, now would be a good time to think about starting°. Or, more sensibly, don't click this link. And if you do, certainly don't fall into the trap of playing the video clip Eli Sanders included with a note that begins, "Help!"

Does this play in "middle America", or something? Is that why it seems so strange to me as to be frightening? Remember that someone, somewhere thought this was a good idea. And someone at CW television agreed. And, naturally, they found people to do the show, so at some point it does not seem unreasonable to wonder if there really is an audience for Crowned, and just how many people will have a cathartic response to phrases like, "Momma really loves her hamburger meat!"

    Notes:

° now would be a good time to think about starting — If prayer seems an extreme reaction, fair enough. Now would also be a good time to take up smoking crack, drinking and driving, or street-corner prostitution. At least if you get mowed down in a freak accident by a drunk driver while giving head for drug money, there will be some dignity in your passing. To the other, if you happen to die while watching CW's Crowned ....

Did you not click the link? Don't get me wrong, I don't object if you didn't. In fact, you're probably better off if you don't. But, obviously, you won't understand what I'm referring to if you don't click the link. Either way is fine with me.

    A queer revenge

So in the clip that started me bitching about this show, there was this guy in this awful suit who had this look on his face at one point that was like a dog had just cut a major fart. I hadn't realized it was Carson Kressley.

The Stranger's David Schmader, in defense of Crowned:

There may be a queer revenge involved here: before this is over, we should expect to see polls here and there about which mother-daughter duo men would most like to double-dip.

Damn. What the hell do you people do for a life ? the internet is better than that damn show or reality television, for that matter.

I usually watch the History channel, Science, Mythbusters, How Did They

Do That, Sci Fi or Weather. That's about all I can handle for most of the

rest of TV is crapola from what I've seen. Occasionally there are specials

that I enjoy on the Public stations or regular TV but they are rare in finding.
