The effort has been to increase funding for sciforums. Doing it by posts would only increase the amount of babble within the forums.

Yeah good point wet1. I hadnt thought about that. I dont remember hearing about it though. But if your going on a subscriber based system of some sort then il pay.

Basically, it is subscribe to recieve. If you wish your avatar and signature displayed then you will have to contribute.

We have been asking for funding for months now. It is posted at the top of every forum you enter. Did you fail to read those?

CounslerCoffee asked a specific question to which he recieved an answer as to the results for non-contributing members.

People who subscribe to the upkeep of sciforums, should recieve some kind of recognition for their donations.

i had thought there was a differance between a subscription and a donation... i was waiting to find out how much to subscribe... i really think porfiry would get more money if he'd set a real amount. those who want to give more, im sure still would, but honestly, i want an amount. ask, and you shall recieve.......
