I hope this will entice a wider variety in members, sincere about informed and informing discussion. The articulation of "right-wing" views (for example views supporting the US neoconservative agenda) has been steadily deteriorating, most likely for reasons external to Sciforums. Still, I hope that US Republicans (for example) and their international philosophical kindred get some quality reinforcements around here. It would get very boring if WEAPing became mostly confined to the perceived left end of the spectrum, or if all that remained at one extreme were a few lonely trolls, incapable of contributing anything but ad-hominems and tangents. I would welcome more diverse opinions, provided they are presented and defended sincerely. I expect to learn much more here when more new members are attracted who are willing and able to put up a vigorous, reasoned defense, especially of mainstream perspectives that I personally consider most indefensible. In the interest of diversity, I think it's good to make whirled events more welcoming to non-liberals. It's worth a try, to see if MAW's modding can do that.

People on both the "right" and "left" are quite happy with the Nanny State that has taken over America in this endless Rooseveltian Era of socialist-authoritarian politics.
