Anyone know what the difference is between pause and wait when star is held, on any digit except the first, on a mobile phone. I would also like to ask the purpose of the 'n' value, and how it works.

pause/wait, could it be the same?

a pause is use for some services like ex. voice mail. It was also use a lot back in the days of modems.

    the n value

, n often represent a user defined value
ex: pause(n) pauses you call for n seconds where n must be between 1 and 59

Yeah I found the difference. P(ause) simply pauses and w(ait) waits for the user to confirm the numbers to be sent. Thanks for the 'n' information.
