I've had it with my computer. It's all messed up. I did a restore and now my Sony Walkman MD will no longer burn- I connect it and the device connects alright and everything, and the burning program detects the MD and any data on it.

But when I go to record from Hd/CD, it just gives the message "The recording session had failed."

I have no idea what's causing this: all my drivers are correct (for MD and CD drive etc).

I give up. Anyone wanna buy a cheap computer?

    C'mon, it's got a gig of RAM

Are you talking about NetMD or are you talking about the new MO drives that basically use minidiscs? Fijitzu or something. I've had my minidisc recorder for almost 5 years.. works fine.

Actually that is a safety measure by Sony. Are you trying to burn over your old MD discs or it won't burn at all on any discs?...because if it is the former than Sony does that on purpose to prevent Pirating.
