Does anyone else here like Mercedes Lackey?

The name sounds nice but I dont even know her.. what sort of scfi does she write?

It's more fantasy than sci-fi... she writes tons of stuff, but the books I like best are her Valdemar books. They're about this imaginary country (Valdemar), but not all about the same characters... she kind of created this whole reality and wrote about different people within it. It's really cool.
