I'm going to be an undergraduate freshman next year, and I was wondering the kind of things I need to do in order to increase my chances of getting into the medical school of my choice. I.E. is there any kind of clubs I need to join, any kind of extra-curricular research? What things would look good on my application?

You will most likely be taking classes with a bunch of bio majors. As a pre-med, you should get used to the following sentiment:

Yeah get really good grads, start studying for the MCATs now! Finding a God to pray to can't hurt either, I never even tried for medical school and knew many who did and got burned, the selection ratio is the most competitive in existence, why don't you try to become a biochemist instead :D
