What the hell happend at the end of this movie? My guess:

My guess is, that Neo as we all understand had died. Thats what we'd origionally think. But if you ask me, what happend when Smith absorbed him was Neo planned this, he was absorbed by Smith and therefore was able to do his dirtywork, fused with both parts or something like this. What do you think happend?

Also it was disappointing to see Trinity die. *sigh*
What a flick...! Kind of disappointing, ending all right then and there at the very end....

Does keep you guessing and thinking doesn't it. I'd think that since the battle was between the machines and programs that the dude behind the door who was in control of it all, the "architect" just had Neo absorbed into another program for later use when he was needed , if ever, again.

I mean how did he kill smith? It seemed like the only way he could have killed him through his absorption thing, and the fact that he actually is not either evidently, alive or dead in the end of the movie, that something occurred to him during his fight with Smith, which is evident.

I think, CT, that he had to kill him through that means but that is simply a suggestion and not real evidence behind it (the only evidence I can see for him having killed him anyway, and the only reason he is apparently, dead after the movie (I am a good guesser

    ).

Trinity's death is one thing which was infinitely upsetting, but then again wasn't dude on the movie Titantic's death also infinitely upsetting? Yeah, it was!

So, the machines are now peaceful because Neo came to the rescue and saved Smith from the machines, proved his power, where is he going?

So many questions, and definitely not enough answers?

Hm, I thought Neo was a sort of back door for the machines to get to Smith

The way I saw it was Smith (a seperate program) was at war with the machines and was trying to destroy them and they were in turn trying to destroy him and all of his programs that is. The humans were caught up in this ongoing war for many years for they couldn't fight the programs and machines at the same time and ever win.

Neo somehow had a gift that he could understand what was actually going on and made a deal with "the architect" who lost control over the "Smith" programs and machines long ago if "the architect " would provide him with information to get to the center core of the programs or the CPU as it were to help the programs overcome the machines by telling the programs he could trick the "smith" program to get a virus that the CPU would give him to implant into the "Smith" program . By giving Neo the virus he also became part of the programs but on their "good " side. Neo finally infected Smith and he as well as Smith were "absorbed" back into the programs in a protected area of it to keep it under control.

I know this sounds hoity-toity but a lot happened. It was actually a deeply philosophical movie, so much so that the producers utterly forgot about the necessity for consistency and believability.

Personally I loved it and liked it even more once I read these examinations by a professor:

Neo was destined to end the war because he was the 6th ONE.

God created the universe in 6 days and rested on the 7th.

When Neo went to the Oracle in The Matrix #1 the Spoon Boy had 5 bent spoons on the floor representing Neo's 5 predecessors who failed. The kid handed Neo the 6th spoon.

Neo created the new Smith by destroying the old Smith but that created the threat to the machines which gave Neo the bargaining position to negotiate the end of the war.

The Matrix never used the words Avatar and Reincarnation but Neo was the reincarnating avatar so ultimately he cannot die.

Check out Enoch, Melchizedek and JC in The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ.

Amazing essasy. If you couldnt' tell I well understand most of what the guy was talking about (I even see quite a few possible confusions on his part (well, obvious ones I guess).

Great movie, I still have some questions about it I guess. lmao

Yeah I was going to post that essay too. The last two films were almost too deep for their own good. I loved all 3, but I can see why a lot of people were turned off by Reloaded and Revolutions. What I loved most is you can watch them both over and over, and each time you'll pick out some things you missed the last time. The meaning of some dialogue, the camera angles, the placement of the characters in the scene, it all fits together like every detail was meticulously planned.
