Matter and energy curves space-time. But could it also be said that what we call matter IS a region of space with curvature? Any difference, mathematically?

YES , i cant imagine a curved space/time that i couldn't call matter/energy. Mathematically ,they can be described the same.

It could be said that there is no such `thing` as matter. It is just a by-product of the curvature.

Particles that move through space are just separate `points` along a path in space and time. (like individual frames in a film, it gives the illusion that it is continuous when played together)
