In all good fun, I want it to say hello to me instead of saying Please wait while we redirect you. But it doesn't seem like it'll happen So why the interest in marijuana is what gets me.

Sciforums is more like an amateur intellecual hangout (or at least it started out that way). It does not need to be held to professional standard.

Yes... it happens everywhere in the world.

Moreover, scientists do not have to abide to a moral code other than that of peer-review and intentional truthfulness of their research.

They can fart, drink, smoke weed, fornicate, lie etc all they want otherwise.

Misread the post, never mind me and my questions... But this Profiry guy sounds like a sure fire liberal though.

But so far the conclusion i have come to, is kind of an obvious one at that. Porfiry wanted to add some character to the community, by giving some sort of past time a seemingly vast majority could relate to. If not, then I suppose he enjoys marijuana enough to make it a part of what he cares about.

What's the big deal? It's a part of our society and the #1 cash crop.

Most posters here are :m: friendly, even if they don't actually use the stuff, but many do, or have done it.

Yes, I did mention in my post that it often makes you interested in it, but most of it you gotta admit is just for fun. I am not here to try and get rid of the plants place in the smilies section. It's just something i find interesting to find in a science forum. I'm convinced there is some sort of story behind this, and one worth reading...
