Mandrake Linux Question

    I have Mandrake 9.1 and use KDE on my system.

    I use the Radeon driver for my Radeon 9000 Pro and it works wonders for 3D acceleration. The problem is that every 5-10 minutes or so my screen goes black for a second or so then comes back. I don't think it does this in a set interval but I have never timed it.

    Anyone know the cause of this? Is it common?
