Do They Ever Not Cut Those Out? Some quotes about young Harry Needham: • "Have you got a school uniform ready?" • "That's not an umbilical cord, it's a fireman's hose'." • "If we hadn't been in the operating theatre, I'd have thought they had passed me a three-month-old." • "I don't normally eat beef much but I just wanted roast beef, steak and chips, steak pies - anything with beef in. When I saw Harry I half expected him to ask for steak and chips." (Perrie) Apparently, young Harry, who weighed 13 lbs 15oz (6.32 kg) at birth, required three people to lift and extract him during the Caesarian section procedure. According to British tabloid The Sun, "Sharon had known she was in for a bruiser after being unable to walk in her final week of pregnancy—which had not happened with her four previous kids." Doctors expected, according to a scan the prior day, a 9½ pound (4.31 kg) baby. Because of mother Sharon's pregnancy diet—apparently fixated on beef—The Sun ran with the headline, "My beefy baby". Seattle newspaper The Stranger, on its weblog, Slog, went with, "Giant Baby Made Out of Meat". Damn, Mama. If he was an American boy, we'd already be fitting him for helmet and pads. That sounds like a future NFL offensive lineman, right there. Congratulations, of course, Sharon, her partner Paul Crossland, and young Harry Needham—good show making it to the world, y'li'l beefeater. (Ha!) ____________________ Notes: Perrie, R. So, Hypothetically, Would people, if they can't afford state of the art genetic therapy, or the sperm of some jerkoff athlete, change their diet during pregnancy for a "better" baby ?
