So, it looks like all you need is sufficiently large NdFeb magnets with sufficient magnetic density and arrange them like so.......and voila'! your own MagnaLaser or .....whatever, really. Now where can you get magnets THAT powerful? duh. eBay of course! The magnet at the link below will lift tons........yes that is the word ton in plural form and fits in the palm of your hand....almost.

This dude is livin on Po'boy samwiches and provide the above information for the more financially intrepid......in other words........somebody Build this thing. Sure it usese expensive and fairly large NdFeb magnets but........I MUST know..........
