Yeah, I know. This subject is tired, worn out, beenthere & done that, but I got ahold of Darwin for x86 and burned the bootable ISO earlier today and will be getting MacOS X. My goal is to build Darwin up as a emulated Mac Enviroment to run MacOS X in..
I'm going to atleast use Darwin as a OS too, so don't scold me for setting up partitions for such a use.
Also, is it possible for me to run KDE In Darwin?

Thanks, and I encourage everyone else to join in.

I have been thinking of installing Darwin and trying Mac OS X.2 on my dog old PC - It wont work it's too old, but I would be really interested in this. Are you a mac or a PC user?

I wasn't aware Apple had made an OS X for x86 -- all that's required to be ported is the Mach microkernel, right?

Can anyone provide anymore information on the limitations of using OS X on x86? Or where I can get it? What is Darwin?

Darwin is the Unix which MacOS X is based.
Apple dose not have MacOS X for x86, just Darwin.
Confusing, Yeah.
Baffeling, yeah.
