I think the biggest problem with MSN is its potential to be abused. There are somewhere around 30 viruses for Linux, there are around 500 plus varients for MS products. Not only that, but a lot of websites take advantage of MSN, changing your personal settings that you have set or that are the default. I do not think they should be able to permantely affect your settings. That once you leave the site, your setting should return to what you perfer. As such MS products have a glaring deficiency. That of security.

Does it work for browsing the net? Yes, it does, at a risk. If they would close all these loopholes or better take the time to develop a secure product it would be much better.

My issue with security has not changed. I run XP also. Even with the updates it was not what I consider secure.

To tell you the truth I'm going to program some virtual/AI monkeys that I can enslave to write an OS.

good idea Stryder, but don't you worry that these infinite number of monkeys will be knocking your door and asking what to do with the os?:D

anyways I use Opera 6.05 and it's way better than IE

Best to make sure it is <a href="http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2795.txt">RFC 2795 compliant</a> then. :D

One problem, the monkey's won't work for virtually peanuts.
