With Windows XP, I'm able to go into: Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> Add/Remove Windows Components --> check Accessories. You might have to uninstall all them, then reinstall.

What do you mean by deleted Paint? Just the shortcut maybe? You could try searching for 'mspaint.exe' on the harddrive and manually create a shortcut if that was the case.

Yeah, I think it is part of Windows setup. The default path for Windows 98 is C:\Program Files\Accessories\MSPAINT.exe

You can get it from your Windows CD

For me, since I don't have Photoshop, it's a nice simplistic way to edit images....my avatar was resized in MSpaint.

Because it is alot easier and simplier to use (therefore being less time consuming) than proggies like PaintShop. For certain small tasks it gets the job done without all of the frustrating extra options you wouldn't want to go through. Let me guess, you don't like it because it's made by microsoft?

    You found me out!-)

True I think Billy and his pirates (that THEY should become uptight about stealing someone else's ideas is really turning things on their ears) have done tremendous damage to personal computing (Windows will never run right till they start all over from scratch).
But, in fact since CAD and Graphics were my first true love on computers, I've always had the best I could afford, thus when `Paint' came out I could only marvel at its inadequacies.

I use AutoCAD and Corel and consider Corel at 400$ the equal in quality to AutoCAD at 4,000$.
