MPC video problem

    im not sure whats wrong, but when i try to play any sort of video file in media player classic i see a scrambled/distorted bar to the side of the screen. it doesnt do it in WMP and it doesnt do it when i access the files from a networked computer. i tried reinstalling it with no success. any help?

    EDIT: never mind, turns out there were 2 instances of the program and it was still using the corrupt one.
