MITech

I'm going into senior year of highschool and looking at colleges.

I have been fascinated with MIT since I heard about it. I love comptuers, engineering, and anything related to the subject. I'd do ANYTHING to get into MIT.

So far, I have:
* worked on 3 advanced web sites that incorporate PHP and heavy backend MySQL
* written a program my dad's coworkers now use in research at industrial a phamacuitical company
* been elected computer club president for two years in a row
* founded the robotics club at my school, become president

What else can I do to get into MIT???

I'm willing to learn languages (computer and not), read 10 hours a day instead of sleeping, and and experiment that I have a 50+ percent chance surviving.

Ideas?

whats your gpa? sat?

my highschool gpa was 4.5 and my SAT was 1450

I was the president of TSA (technology student association) for 3 years, and i was a member of leadership council my junior and senior year.. they didnt even reply to me.

and if ur wondering about 4.5 GPA its International Baccalaureate.. look it up on google

You could try and find a Corporate sponsor that will take you all the way, if they are estemed enough I'm sure that would aid.

Although the main factor is having to make them want you, that means getting those grades and not worrying about commentary by the lesser folk. (The ones that *might* end up in manual labour jobs)

Then there is always the use of blackmail (although they might not let you ever in for this one), the use of "Well I will take myself to CALtech" might sway them.
