The concept of "Love" is an expression of many base things. It's a whole description of whole factors involved.
It can be measured in many ways; I don't know how scientific you want to get. One scientific measurement may involve hormonal measurements in conjunction with stimulated brain activity. But for practical daily living, we usually simply measure it by the effectiveness of when a person puts another wants before their own, shows support, caring and consideration, etc.

LOL monkey see; monkey do, eh? You're mimicking what you hear others say when you talk, hoping it will stick.

Well, it won't. I said substance and if you want to lie to yourself, fine. Don't lie to me.

The people who speak in tongs they have a special area of brain activity. And if we think of Oxitosin , then the question is what stimulate the particular brain to secrete oxitosin.

Provide support for this claim and then correlate that support to demonstrate that area of brain activity truly is "special" and not simply the activation of an area to govern "faking," for example or "tongue flopping."

Why is it always youtube used to "prove" a claim? I notice you ignored the link I gave you...

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/10/061030183100.htm

    Just a problem associated here:
The activity moved from one part of the brain, associated with speech pattern recognition moved to another part of the brain: No surprise that this caused the individual to speak gibberish there... But it does not "prove" an action caused by any Holy Ghost. It demonstrates that the brain activity involved changed location- which, again, makes no surprise of how speaking in tongues is always complete and total gibberish.

You asked how we measure it scientifically. There are all kinds of ways to do that. You can take the mean and standard deviation for rates of donations to charities during regional disasters and try to correlate trends with other markers, such the number of minutes of air play of people suffering. You could look at statistics for quality time spent with children, volunteer hours at hospitals, quarts of blood donated during a crisis, or how many dozen roses sell on Valentine's day.

Get out your spreadsheet, put on some romantic music, turn the lights down low - - and just feast on the numbers.
