We have been playing our latest games for weeks but we went to open the game today and our saved games wasn't there. Yesterday we also lost a word document. So we have downloaded a few files recovery programs but it seems it would be a .DAT file and as far as I can tell the programs don't recover these.

Do we have any chance at all of recovering this game? We have 26 hours of play lost unless we can recover it, HELP.
