A list of UN Resolutions against "Israel"

Here is a list of UN resolutions that Israel has not complied. As far as I know they have ignored every single resolution. But the situation is far worse than would at first appear, it involves the serious distortion of the official Security Council record by the profligate use by the United States of its veto power. (See Table)

Israel’s, defiance goes back to its very beginnings. This collection of resolutions criticizing Israel is unmatched by the record of any other nation.

Thats incredible, but not surprising, not even Saddam violated that many resolutions.

wasn't the violating of UN resolutions a reason for invading iraq. even though the resolution to do with iraq's WMD had been honoured as we have not find any sicne the occupation of iraq

Then of course, no other nation has had as many resolutions enacted against it.

I wonder - is all of that from big morality, or is some of it from big oil, and the vaguely hostile intentions of a good proportion of the voting members? Surely the high humanitarian interests of the Sudan, Egypt and Iran cannot be denied? Has Syria had any enacted against it? Iran, which murders people not quite indiscriminately?

I can certainly give you examples of that from USA and Israel where pepole are killed in their 1000s,Lets see Iraq may be 100,000 or Sabra and shatilla camps in Leabonan some 3 -4000 mainly elderly women and childern.
And you want to tell us the UN got it so very wrong on Israel so many times and the Arabs are buying votes at the security council,

Perhaps it is geniunily becuase the israelis have done shit which is not welcome in the international community. Please remember that there would be loads more if it was not for the veto of the US. I wonder how many UN resolutions have been vetoed in advantage to another country?

Having looked at the list, I'd say that some of the resolutions appear to be repetitions, e.g:

* Resolution 252: " . . . 'declares invalid' Israel's acts to unify Jerusalem as Jewish capital".
* Resolution 267: " . . . 'censures' Israel for administrative acts to change the status of Jerusalem".
* Resolution 271: " . . . 'condemns' Israel's failure to obey UN resolutions on Jerusalem".
* Resolution 298: " . . . 'deplores' Israel's changing of the status of Jerusalem".
* Resolution 476: " . . . 'reiterates' that Israel's claim to Jerusalem are 'null and void'".
* Resolution 478: " . . . 'censures (Israel) in the strongest terms' for its claim to Jerusalem in its 'Basic Law'".

Isn't that effectively one resolution that was restated six times?

In fact, almost all the resolutions boil down to one thing: "get out of the occupied territories". Since Israel ignored that* the UN went into detail :p

*for what I think were security reasons - much like the Koreas: the Green line wasn't the result of a treaty but an armistice, and apart from Jordan and Egypt, the Arab neighbours don't yet recognise Israel's existence.
