Hmm, I was wondering a lot of our discussions are backed up by facts, or tried to be backed up with facts. Could we attach a small page with links to reference sites to provide strictly info on various subjects. The only one I have on hand is this for world affairs, its really good: http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/ Just wondering if this is worth doing for the help of others.
I cannot believe my eyes. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised that you, of all people, advocate the presentation of supporting facts in SciForums! Please tell me, Howardstern, what factual support would you suggest? News agencies? Talk Shows? Perhaps the scientific report from the Professor, of "Gilligans Island?"
Hey, Pro.Max ... Why don't we start with the 'fact' that this forum is intended to give Dave intelligent feedback; and go on to the 'fact' that thecurly1 attempted it ... and succeeded; and go on to the 'fact' that HOWARD supported thecurly1's effort. Which leads us, at least me, to the obvious conclusion that you're an unmitigated ass who has nothing to contribute and insufficient sense to avoid displaying your pettiness and ignorance. I must offer my congratulations to you. Well done Chagur! To my rough estimation, you have managed to achieve a grammar accuracy level of over 53%! Once again, well done. I am very happy for you, Chagur. I knew that the "Hooked on Phonics link" would be of immeasurable value to you. <i>"It is the struggle which strengthens us"</i>
I have stolen an idea from another site on the web, that I wish to present for consideration. What about a contest for links? To be awarded based on useful content and amount of links? To be used to make a link site to information to assist members in getting facts and sources for background of their posts? Anyone interested? What about it Porfiry? Are you willing to sift through such and create a site if enough will particapte? Maybe a seperate page simular to the membership rolls concerning links? Oh, while I'm at it, for some strange reason in Mississippi they call a garden hose a hose pipe. Go figure.
