Nah seams like a crap idea too.
The reason that people use Windows is because it is easy to use and well supported,
People use linux because it is free,
Therefore 'Lindows' is in no mans land.

Choose the right things.like Free and ease of use, flexibility and filesystem of linux, application and other graphics from Windows XP and you"ll get a masterpiece...

Surely that is not the only reason
nope. Thats why non-programmers / non-sys admins use it.
either that or because they have a completely idiotic view that Microsoft is evil, just because of what stupid people write on forums such as these and in the media.

I don't think Microsoft evil, but I'm NEVER going to invest in an XBOX because I feel the riggers and torment of their OS's have got me so burnt out I don't want any more to do with them.
(that means the amount of BLUE SCREENS, and crashes just because of Memory leaks. Not the hype of spyware, or backdoors, or that it's got so many holes there thinking of renaming the OS Sieve. (e.g. Sieve XP)
I dont know about lindows yet. from what I herd its just windows with the kde desktop.
Lindows is to tricky for newbs to use and not stable enough for linux users and you have to pay for it.
Not going to make me dump my XP/Debian installation.
