What decides what we like?
What is it that means that I hate bananas but love spicy food, where as my parents don't like anything too spicy, and my sister will only eat plain food. What about music tastes, cars, colours, etc. Surely the food tastes the same, the music sounds the same, the cars n colours look the same, so what decides whether you like them, and gives you your individual tastes etc?

I've always wondered about that too. Maybe it has something to do with what we did or didn't have as children growing up combined with experiences we had regarding such things.

Meanwhile, why assume that we all experience the same thing? No actual truth that we do.
