So whats up with the Lehman federal probe? Lehman was treated differently by the US govt from the beginning and the decision to not prop them up like Stearns, Freddie, Fanny, AIG, etc has been seen in the instability of banks with Lehman exposure.

I watched the congressional hearing where they interviewed Fuld and the focus on his earnings was ridiculous considering it is no different than the executives from the corporations above, except that Fuld [or so I hear] did not have a golden parachute.

Now the feds are pursuing a criminal inquiry against Lehmans while bailing out the other corporations

What gives?
