** I seen a program on KET which spoke of controlling knowledge through electronic means. By this I mean things we take for granted, for example, checking out books in our local library, listening to our favorite artist, enjoying a old flick, or citing a work. These things will still be available but controlled through our computers and television sets. Except for the poor, this doesn't sound to bad right? Yet each time a song is played, reference used, or movie watched.you have to pay for it-each time The once free flowing field of knowledge which shaped our society is going cost a price? Did anybody ele's see this program?
