An island where King Kong lives along with other prehistoric creatures. One of the great classics. As a kid I liked the sequal where king kong has a baby. I wonder if they really make a new sequal with that ?

That looks awesome!

Though Jack Black as a somewhat bad guy? I dunno about that.

Bad casting I'd say with Jack Black.

I don't know about that. I haven't liked Jack Black really as a comedian, instead I have found him rather annoying...and that could lead to a decent portrayal of the off-putting-antagonist-type.

Looks awesome. I think Jack B is an excellent choice for the movie director dude character.

I loved Jeff Bridges though. He's the dude! Anyone else love the Big Lebowski?

I'd say that most people think of him as a comedian and that's why I stated what I did.

Of course they do, why shouldn't they. Still...beyond the annoyance I kind of like the guy and think that what he can bring as an irritating comedian will work well as an irritating antagonist. And it's nice to see him trying his hand at some "serious" work.

Comedy is perhaps the hardest of all entertainment to do and he has a rare gift to make people laugh.

I think he'll do well in his role. I mean, the movie is about a giant ape fighting dinosaurs. Black's unserious seriousness just adds to the melodrama.
