Aww man, Banshee is such a downer, man! Not only did she close the "Is the moon real" thread in Pseudoscience, but she alsy cut off the last page or so of posts! What a bummer!

Why can't we ever have anything nice around here without people closing it and cutting off the end of it? Uhh. . . um I don't even know what I mean by that.

Perhaps Banshee had s/he reasons, also it well stated in s/he rules sticky that s/he would do this at any time when ever s/he likes, so there is nothing that we can do but simply grumble under harsh censored rule. Even so It would have been nicer if s/he had explain to us why s/he would do this with more detail and kindness.

If I was a moderator:
-For one I would try not to delete posts or edit them heavily unless I can do so with out destroying what the speaker said, I would also leave a message at the bottom explain what I did and why.
-If a thread is off topic I would warn everyone so, rather then close the thread or delete the off topic post.
-If a thread is to long I would warn everyone that to say your last statements it time to close it.
-If a post is to long, I would ask that the poster shorten it, if not I would have to do it my self, if quotes are what is making it long I would ask the poster to put up the link instead or I would do it my self.
-If a poster used fallacies like ad. homins I would tell him so as a moderated message at the bottom an as a pm message and warn him that in the future such activity would require deleting of whole post or even banishment.
-If the poster is being insulting or vulgar I would do that same thing as fallacy and/or censor out the really bad stuff first and say I did not make it look like this guy is nice for censoring s/he own stuff

Nope. I don't know anything about the two closed threads. And I can neither confirm nor deign the existence of these so called "deleted posts."

I was not wearing my glasses. I didn't notice that it applied the logic there.

I (he) spend about 10 minutes per animation. I'm not heartbroken, because I used one to post on the message board of B3TA.com. And I also put it on my own website as animation of the day.
