I just happened across this guy while looking for something else. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Trudeau Wow! He is one piece of work! The worst type of con man. Thing is, while reading through the article in the link I couldn't help but notice the extreme similarity between what he's pushed and what our member Doreen believes and promotes. It's almost like she's his biggest fan. But I suppose that all conspiracy nuts have to have SOME basis for their wacky beliefs.
I actually found one of his books at my parents house. I was relieved to find out they didn't buy it or read it. If there were ever a case of someone selling their soul to the devil for a buck...It's KT.
Yeah, Mac, I would have been relieved too! And yep - he sure is a prime example of the worst of the worst.
Maybe he believes that. Doesnt mean that other people have to believe it and tbh, i dont know anyone who does. Do you RO?
I mean in general, few people would believe a book is going to cure a disease? especially a serious disease. Maybe as a last resort people would try some home remedies.
Really? You'd be really surprised how gullible and ignorant people can be. How do you think he made all that money that he had to pay back and pay in fines, eh? He did it by selling his garbage to thousands of fools, that's how.
But he isnt changing anyones mind or offering false hope and maybe he is offering some kind of hope. Remember the woman who took her son and refused medical treatment for cancer? The kid would have died but these ideas are already in peoples heads.
Like playing the lottery, people dont believe they are going to win because the odds are so against it. BUT, they still play.
John, did you even bother to read the article I linked to? It sure doesn't sound like it from what you're saying.
I admit that i only scanned through the wiki link and i saw that he has a criminal record. Is that what you are referring to?
His book "natural cures "They" don't want you to know about" doesn't even have any cures in it. He's been sued countless times by the government for making false claims. This guy makes used car salesmen and ambulance chasers look like angels.
I agree that book really has nothing in it, it's filled with absolutely nothing lol Hilarious but true
OMG! There is a copy of his book sitting in our break room at work. In fact I think there is more than one. Hmmm, I wonder who the idiot at work is.....there are so many to choose from.
I have friends who are ER doctors and nurses. They said when the book first came out and people were using vinegar for acid reflux/heartburn, they had an influx of new cases/patients. Whoever told him to tell people to pour acid into an acid stomach has a screw loose.
I bet he does not believe a single thing he says. I bet it is all about the money for the right ammount of money many many people will say what every the hell it takes as long as they get paid for it. And no I do not agree with this guy but I can see why some one would say these things every body in North america ok a lot of people in north america are all ways looking for that magic bullet that will make them rich. I bet it would be fair to say a lot of people would preform their own dental surgrey if they thought there was enough money in it. Just look at shows like survivour, American Idol and ******* things like that they all pry on the persons want for a easier quicker buck.
Never statyed up past 12am? Every other infomercial makes similar claims. The point i was making is that people have common sense and those who doant are not going to change.
