There's probably a filter or something that only works when you press "submit"...the preview is unfiltered or unblocked.

I don't understand sigs on this forum. Whats the point of setting up a sig in control panel if it doesnt show anywhere. Whats the point of setting up a avatar if noone sees it but you?

sigs and avatars take up webspace (hence more money), they were taken off a while back cause of financial difficulties with the site owners.
