It is true that we can not speak of the ineffable,
but it is not a total waste to try either.
Men have erased countless forests of trees on paper
trying to say that which can not be said.
Metaphors of legends and poets may venture up to the event horizon
for a peek beyond that which can be communicated.
A writer may even stick in his toe to have it disappear.
If nothing else the attempt at ineffable speech
defines the boundaries of the unknowable.
Philosophers are needed to tell us where we can go.
It is up to the rest of us to find out how to get there.
This is why I enjoy Cosmology.
It sometimes assumes we may be able to get someplace
that is not yet fully realized and stretches the boundaries
of possibilities if only for an enjoyable muse.
If someone, say, had the gift
of 4 dimensional sight and communication
they could see behind objects that they had not yet passed
and speak of things that have not yet happened.
We are not well adapted to understanding such an individual/entity
and would most likely dismiss anything said -
if communication were even possible.
If you have had any kind of spiritual experience or inspiration
from a Tao concept of the universe
or a feeling of euphoric sanctity
that may be as close an epiphany to the unknowable
that humans may achieve.
I await the advance of higher dimensional physics,
not to prove or disprove any limitations
of human perception and communication,
but to expand them.
