didn't israel steal a shipload of weapons grade uranium or plutonium from the soviet union? i'm not very sure but i remember reading about it somewhere. anyway, concerning nuclear weapons, i have just 1 opinion..MAD (mutually assured destruction).

USSR might have given them to Israel they did support them till US started supporting them.

Why would they need to waste money on getting nukes? Just by fostering everyone's SUSPICION that they have them is good enough. A nuke is worthless as a weapon but wonderful as a threat.
