I am always for diplomacy, IF it works.

Just like Clinton denied having sexual relations with 'that' woman.

lord, are you supporting a strike on fanatic Iran?

(just like Iran Saddam denied having weapon of mass destruction)

point number 2, I think Israe's denial was to make the situation calm, 'denying' Israel's denial is more a war-like direction.

Israel denies...
Why does Israel hesitate?

When has diplomacy ever worked in such international conflicts? And if it's never worked, in all of the times it's been tried and touted, then how can you have any confidence in it? Why are you always for it ...when there ain't no evidence of it working ...ever?

Yeah, you are wrong. When people talk, almost always it's not long before the shooting starts! The problem, of course, is just like what's proven here at sciforums every single day ....people can't and won't and don't want to agree with other people. Then, when the disagrements can't be settled, which they never can be, the shooting begins in ernest.

It would be better if no one ever, EVER, talked to anyone, ANYONE, ever again from now until eternity ends ....or perhaps longer.

I think Israel should be saluted for showing restraint, again, against a dangerous crazy guy.

exposure of this contingency plan is part of the "not denying and not confirming" policy-- you show strength without threatening anybody

it's just a headsup to the mullahs that yes, Israel is civilized, but she does have big sticks she can and will use

Not if they are civilised people who recognise that everyone has a right to their opinion and cooperation is more effective in the long run than conflict.

Then there must not be many "civilized" people in the world, huh, Sam?

When has talk, diplomacy, ever solved any major conflict in the history of mankind? If diplomacy is so great a tool, then you must have evidence of it working and solving many conflicts. Would you please be so kind as to post some of those wonderful examples of diplomacy?

I did, but it appears you have a mutation that keeps you from recognising diplomatic efforts when you see them. Perhaps that is what separates Americans from the rest of the world?
