Anonymous The Bankers Are The Problem

It's a problem of education, of ways of thinking. This is, ultimately, what Ron Paul is seeking to address and is the only real solution. WE need to change the way we interact with one another in society. I don't think it's going to change any time too soon. Sure, the economy will make us change at some point, but, I think people will get used to a new norm. Mainly because we can't starve to death and starving is probably the only real motivator of people.

So, dear Anonymous, hack the Diebold ballot instead

They produce video announcements of intent:

A99 Operation Empire State Rebellion - Communication #1

"We are a decentralized non-violent resistance movement, which seeks to restore the rule of law and fight back the organized criminal class.
One tenth of the population has consolidated wealth in unprecedented fashion and launched an all-out economic war against 99.9% of the population.
We are not affiliated with the two party oligarchy. We seek and end to the corrupted two party system by ending the campaign finance and lobbying racket.
Above all we aim to break up the global cartel centered at the federal reserve , IMF, Bank of international settlements and World Bank. We demand that the
primary dealers within the federal reserve banking system be broken up and held accountable for rigging markets and destroying the global economy effective immediately.
As a sign of good faith, we demand that Ben Bernanke step down as federal reserve chairman. Until our demands are met and the rule of law is restored, we will engage
in a relentless campaign of non-violent, peaceful, civil disobedience. In our next communication, we will announce Operation Empire State Rebellion. Expect us."

They engage in activities like this:

Syrian government websites have been hacked by the group 'Anonymous', according to reports.

The homepages of several government sites were replaced with interactive maps of the country, showing data on the number of people killed during the six-month uprising, according to Israel newspaper Haaretz.
They also included videos and information of the various Syrian cities that have been on the receiving end of the crackdown, including Homs, Latakia and Damascus, as well as a link to a website advising activists on how to maintain their anonymity on the internet and avoid government tracking.

    Egypt:

There was plenty of that in the #opegypt IRC channel, where Anonymous’s campaign to target the Egyptian government, and provide support to Egyptian protesters, was being co-ordinated. #Opegypt had been launched two days before, to support the Egyptian protests intended for January 25 that had been organised on Facebook. It came on the heels of #opAlgeria, of which more in a moment, and of course #optunisia, which had kept up a weeks-long attack on the Ben Ali government. That regime was one of the world’s most effective internet censors, which is what had drawn Anonymous’s attention in the first place. Ben Ali’s government had, among other things, used the country’s ISPs to deploy malicious code that harvested Facebook passwords.

    Egypt:

The online group Anonymous said Wednesday that it had paralyzed the Egyptian government’s Web sites in support of the antigovernment protests.
Multimedia. Anonymous, a loosely defined group of hackers from all over the world, gathered about 500 supporters in online forums and used software tools to bring down the sites of the Ministry of Information and President Hosni Mubarak’s National Democratic Party, said Gregg Housh, a member of the group who disavows any illegal activity himself. The sites were unavailable Wednesday afternoon.

Listening to the link you provided I'm reminded of Argentina. Argentina was absolutely fleeced by corporatism (international banks), their own politicians and the IMF. All of their political parties had co-opted with the bankers and used public assets to pay for the bankers private debts (sound familiar). Their nations debt was huge and all of the countries assets went on a bargain sale, same as is happening to Greece. The population was impoverished and the middle class thrown into poverty. Unemployment and starvation took hold and then the people went absolutely ape-shit, they took to the streets and engaged in non-violent civil disobedience and brought the government to its heels. Eventually they defaulted and told the bankers to hit the road, told the IMF to go to hell, unhinged themselves from the dollar and nationalized all of their shit and injected the money back into the country. Consequently they recovered. Anonymous is right, the problem is the bankers.

In my mind I picture these desperate "Rebels" (ala StarWars) in Anonymous and the Empire represented by Nation Security Agency (who employs the most mathematicians... anywhere). I wonder if any NSA employees are part of Anonymous?
