It's already happened. The Kurds have their own flag, and their own governance. Do you think they'll give it up?

Centrifugal forces have far exceeded centripetal, however one chooses to spin it.

I don't think Iraqis can get along with other Iraqis, so ....yes, it's inevitable.

Why not? It seems like that is exactly what EVERYBODY wants except the US and various power-hungry Iraqi politicians.

I don't believe Iraq will break up.
One reason...Oil...and I don't believe the US would allow it..Democratic or Republican because then it's just a free for all to see who gets the oil and if the wrong people get it...that could mean funding for terrorism.

Horse pucky. Saudi and Gulf oil funds terrorism, Saquist- and the Washington establishment doesn't make a peep about it. You're just repeating the deceptive propaganda that is prolonging this counterproductive war.

No, String, I don't think the US is against it, I think they just don't know how to divide it ...especially Baggieville, which is where all the trouble is. I mean, how would you go about dividing Baggieville? The rest of the country is already almost perfectly divided. But Baggieville is the problem.

So, ...how can we divided Baggieville?

It's his "cute" way of degrading a foreign city. He's thinking in his muddled way about the ethnic carving-up of Baghdad.
