I am new to these forums and found them in a search for an answer about sleeping habits in relation to this subject. I am 17 years old, 5'4 tall, and have not grown this year. I think I am done growing and that troubled me because 5'4 in my opinion is a ridiculously short height to be fully grown at. I started doing some research and I found this product online called Kimi. Apparently, when you put it in the soles of your shoes (it is basically like a hard plastic shoe sole that goes over the original ones) it stimulates certain nerves in your feet which in part stimulates your pituitary gland to start producing growth hormones once again. According to the product, (which seems to have a good deal of scientific research to back it up) if you wear the "Kimi" and perform some specific stretches, you will be able to attain an extra 2-4 inches of height. I have been using the product for 3 days so naturally I have not seen any results, but I do feel a strange sensation in my body everytime I start to doze off (this is probably imagined but I'm not sure). Basically, I would like to hear from anybody who might have any knowledge in this subject about whether or not in their opinion it is possible to become taller by using a method such as this one. I also posted this because if anyone else is in my shoes (haha) you might want to give this product a try, I will repost on this thread with results eventually. Check it out at this link http://www.growtaller.net/device.html

I read about that "grow taller" thing. I have wanted to try it, but I doubt it works. I never bought it because I never researched it. I have been told one continues to grow taller up until 25 or so.

Oh, actually what I was refering to were pills. I heard about it on the radio a while back. http://www.heightmax.com/

Edit: it's a scam... as I suspected.

Yeah, I wouldn't try a supplement just because I personally don't think its natural to "put" extra hormones into my body. I found this grow taller thing while I was initially searching for exercises, diet suggestions, or anything natural I could do without purchasing anything to maximize my height. I figured I'd give it a try because it has a complete money back guarantee and it is just reactivating glands in my body rather than forcing anything into my body that isn't already there. But if you are interested in increasing your height you may want to visit the link I posted above. It explains the reasons for which you have potential for growing taller in the first place, as well as offers a way to achieve your maximum potential height. I don't mean to be speaking quite so highly of it yet considering I have yet to see any results (its only been 3 days) but from what I have read it seems pretty risk-free and I couldn't resist giving it a try.

P.S. these forums are very interesting (and also addicting). I'm glad I found them. I'm going to bed for now but I'll be checking back frequently.

If you are interesting in excerises that do not require much equipment, try the Navy SEALS workout. All you need is a working body, a bike, and access to a swimming pool. Just search the internet and many resources come up.

You will get annoyed quickly. Especially if I am involved. There are other characters around here to avoid ;)

Answering the thread question: Yes.

I strongly doubt any sort of stimulation of soles of your feet will change your growth; however, the body is so complex, almost anything is possible.

I shared a office (years ago when I went to one) with a 30+ year old tall man who was still slowing growing taller during his 20s. Both his male children were very short for their age and one qualified for human growth hormone, HGH, and was taking it when I retired.

HGH does work and I am almost sure that it is now more reasonablely priced as it can be made synthetically now (I think.) Back then, the only source was fresh cadaver’s pituitary glands. (A dozen for one dose, as I recall.)

Unfortunately, pig sheep and cow growth hormone does not work on humans, at least not very significantly. The synthesis is great advance for those who need it.

Will not hurt to buy and use shoe inserts but I suspect it is a scam. HGH is effective.

5'4" is fine, anyone who doesn't like it isn't worth associating with.

The shoe implants sound like complete BS. As Billy said, human growth hormone does work; but you need a prescription.

Anyway, don't lose hope. My uncle was about your height when he went into the navy at age 18. By the time he got out, he was six feet three inches! He had to get all new uniforms.

I think you're screwed, man, but according to reliable sources (women I know who have seen this sort of thing), men of your...uh...stature tend to be endowed with certain...features?

Let's just say growth just relocates to "other areas"
