Since the Pope died people must have noticed the number of new posters who appear to be absolutely out of their minds. And they've each come here with the sole purpose of pushing some sincerely bizarre agenda.

Garry Denke apparently thinks he's God. None of his posts demonstrate the remotest rationality, and are filled with padding, including the personal details of the posters he is responding to. I think he's just a mischievous troll.

MattMarriott is a paranoid conspiracy theorist whose posts are full of the usual push-buttons: the Illuminati, Satan.

quelquechosedautre (Robert) continually crossposts his lengthy diatribes about forthcoming armageddon in several threads. At least one of his posts was quite offensively anti-Catholic and elements verged on antisemitism. And he has now attracted the attention of

twowitnesses, who has written about five posts in a row in the same thread, which indicate a certain lack of familiarity with forum etiquette. Rationality is similarly absent from what he writes, he seems to know quelquechosedautre personally.

Interesting. Is the pope's death causative or coincidental, do you think?

We seem to be awash in inane posters. They're like little cycles; they start posting and posting, then get bored and wander away or Goofy bans them. Then more come. But the cycles are increasing in frequency.

There is a reason why I usually stay out of the WE, Pseudoscience, and Religion forum. the discussions there are usually flooded with trolls and 12 year olds. It's not the same as discussing face-to-face with someone intelligent.

Garry Denke doesn't think he's God. But he is the founder of The Catholic Church. Check the public records. Even if he did think he was God, aren't we all since we are made in his image?

He's also very knowledgable when it comes to Stonehenge and Geology. He's really quite fascinating, if you take the time to really read what he's posting. He's not stupid, he just has a different way of communicating.

I wouldn't call him inane. We have plenty of inane posters I could point out as good examples.
