I have been a member of this forum for quite a few months now and to be honest, have really gotten tired about hearing of all the relativity talk. I have skimmed through the near hundreds of pages, reading what I could, and really don't know who to side with. Where have all the good questions regarding math and general physics gone. Well apparently they have been smothered out by the relativity posts. Could we please start a new forum for this topic, or tone it down a little. It has really brought out the worst in the members here, and I really have no interest in reading the posts anymore.

I tend to agree. It is very hard to syphon out the interesting posts when everything is somebody coming up with another way to debunk relativity and the literally hundreds of posts that follow from it.

Absolutely agree with you, guys,
And see what kind of threads on Relativity is appearing each time again and again. There is no development even in topics, ideas, and issues of discussion.
I guess the Sir Moderator has to establish some rules, to make Forum more interesting for the new members and visitors.
Forum should be about Physics and Mathematics and not about persons and their relations, and at least not about their … body parts.

I hear you.

If I could, I would probably create a sub-forum of the Physics & Math forum to deal just with relativity. However, that is beyond my power. If you really want one, propose one in the Open Government forum, and see how it goes.

What I can do is to merge closely-related threads. From now on, I will try to merge threads in which a conversation from another thread is carried over into a new thread.

I agree that stricter moderation of the relativity posts is desirable, and have been concerned about this for a while now.

Hey,

Thanks for the concern, I really appreciate it.

Go back to sleep. If you can't figure this out for yourself, you shouldn't be here.

Yeah, your concerned alright, that we are closing in on your "precious".

I wouldn't bother James R. Relativity is on the way to the theoretical morgue. What would another forum get you. If these yo yos who are tired of relativity threads are so stressed out ,it is the simplest thing to do, absolutely nothing, don't read them.

I wouldn't bother James R. Relativity is on the way to the theoretical morgue.Even if that were the case, the reason wouldn't have anything to do with any of the threads you've started. The theory you've been attacking is your understanding of relativity, wihch is incorrect. Even after being corrected you still attack your theory, not what relativity actually says.

Please don't turn this into another thread about relativity! I was just saying that becuase all the relativity threads receive all of the traffic. In March, there were lots of threads regarding mathematics and general physics. Now it is just relativity.

geistkiesel:

Whether relativity is right or wrong is not the issue here. Your comment is irrelevant. If you don't want a new forum, vote against the idea. Simple.
