An Iraqi family based in Britain is considering suing the Ministry of Defence after losing 10 relatives in a bomb attack in Basra.

I think this case may have some merit but I'm sure plenty of you will disagree.
Mr Khan said if precision bombing was used in the knowledge that innocent civilians would be killed, that amounted to unlawful killing. If the intelligence was unreliable or not checked out correctly, there could be a case for gross negligence, he said.
Quite right too.

Over to you all.

Whilst i'm sure they and many others like them are indeed victims of the war i can imagine the US defence easily squashing this by stating some variation of the Anti-Terror legislations and saying that to reveal what their intellegence was that led them to bomb that house would compromise national security and your going to have to just trust them, shit happens.

MoD= Ministry of Defence.
The US is not involved here. (for a change) British forces killed close family of British citizens in a 'precision' strike that missed.
The 'intelligence led' Strike was intended for 'Chemical' Ali who just happened to be nowhere near where the bomb landed.

Hope that clarifies,
