AUGUST 21--An Iowa man was charged today with making a threatening telephone call to the woman Kobe Bryant has been charged with sexually assaulting. According to the below federal indictment, John William Roche, 22, placed a call on July 27 that included a death threat "directed at a witness" in the Bryant case. Roche's threat was left on an answering machine in the 19-year-old woman's home in Eagle County, Colorado, according to investigators. If convicted, Roche faces a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The threatening call came days after the victim's name, address, and home number began circulating widely on the Internet.

Actually, she went to the police 12 hours after they had sex and it wasn't the emercency room. It was the routine examination a person claiming rape gets.

1. If he was not Kobe, there would not be as much publicity. Which is both potentially good or bad for rape victim causes. And this most certainly is not the case for the former, considering the defendant and circumstances....
2. Speculation, endless mutherfucking speculation
3. Race.

I honestly doubt he is guilty. Famous people are targets for this kind of shit. And people just don't get raped by nba allstars. They have sex with them. There's a difference.
