I wish I would have paid more attention to this in high school. This means that the intensity of a source proportionally decreases as the distance increases. Therefore, the intensity of the source can never ever ever be zero, right? Now, I now nothing about math, but is there any relationship here to the principles of fractals?

This is but simple mathmatics my friend. Indeed it has been to long since you've been in high school. Phone your teacher.

Could you give us some idea as to WHY you think the "inverse square law" could be related to fractals??
