Greetings all,

Firstly I do not disclose my name on the Internet for personal and occupational reasons so I herein go by the name "Godslave" as I'm a personal fan of the book by Dan Brown, The DaVinci Code - I'm also a large fan of the movie. I cannot exactly say I am one to dismiss the possibilities of other life-forms being present within the unearthed walls of space thus; it is in my own curiosity to attempt to find as much information as possible.

I serve in the Australian Defence Force and enlisted when I was 17. I'm happily married and have a beautiful 2 year-old daughter. I do not disclose names on the Internet because, well, this is not a secure environment. I'm a self-proclaimed skeptical Atheist; and don't believe in the existance of supernatural-entities/deities as I look more at Science for religious answers. Though I have come to hate the Church of Scientology due to Tom Cruise's rube fooling and besmirching, pseudo-intellectual rants about Xenu.

Though that would seem like an oxymoron; I am certainly not a Scientologist but I'm a skeptic and don't accept things on blind faith; I require bedrock-knowledge. That's about is basically. I'm here to learn from others; to gather Intel and to share/voice my opinions. I thank you all for the opportunity to advance my knowledge and undefiled wisdom; and I look forward to the intellectual discussions herein.

"Godslave" means exactly that. A religious slave to the mainstream religious ideologies; attempting to free from the mass-conformity to be an individual of substance. Something that comes as second-nature to me.

Because, the book and movie uses facts as a means of manipulation. It showcases facts to the mainstream populace instead of theories where no facts exist to validate it's truth. Plus, Dan Brown is an amazing author, and Ron Howard is an outstanding director - as for Tom Hanks, well, his appearance in "Forrest Gump" was simply brilliant and I've been an eager fan of all of his movies.
