hey. Just lately my IE has been messing up. Most pages load fine.. but when i want to load up a page which is linked from another website.. it wont load. The pages that wont load are the ones that get brought up in a new window. FOr example. I'm on a site which has some links. I click on a link and a new IE window is brought up. Its a normal window and has the windows flag top right moving to show its loading. The address bar is also there. BUt the page never loads. Its just all white (blank) How do i fix this? Please respond asap please as this is urgent.

My brother had the same problem.
When I reset his security level settings to a default level it cleared.
I never really looked into what exactly was causing it.

I don't know if it is the same issue, but it's worth a try, I guess.

Yea i just tried that and it didn't work. Its strange cause it was working fine and then all of a sudden it started to screw up :S. Hmm i tried the windows helpline (email and phone) and both said to download all the windows updates.. which i did and maybe thats wat messed it up in the first place? i dunno. This is a real mystery

Do you have any spyware blocker set up?

Spybot Search and Destroy (http://www.safer-networking.net/en/index.html) is the best I have used, and it's free (though they do request a donation if you like it)...

It's one of the svchost's causing it, probably because of a change in security/privacy settings (admin previledges).. It would get back to normal (temporarily) if you restart the pc.. M$ did release a patch for this.. What version of Windows/IE are u using?

Advice: Ditch IE, Get Firefox!
