Wow - what an obviously slanted set of choices!!! I notice that "National Interest" didn't even make the list!

The phrase 'national interest' is a wide angle lens.
To some, the national interest means the public opinion of the citizenry, which is included among the choices.
To others the national interest means the wealth of coporate america...also included.

Missing the Saudis - not a lobby group, exactly, but no small potatoes in the influence arena, for this administration.

How do you believe the the Saudi government influences US foreign policy? The Saudi government is a family, check, a large one. The last count I ran across added up about one and a half billion dollars of gifts, contributions, and personally directed contracts awarded to W&Co from the House Of Saud.
AFAIK no US President in history has been as closely bound, personally and financially, to a foreign power.
