I assume everyone implicitly accepted that Lashkar-e-Taiba was behind them, but I'd expected that an admission from Pakistan in this case would be as unlikely as a dog that can talk. This is probably at least possible. "What Taliban? (Shhh! Get under the bushes, you!)" being the mode du decade. Also possible?
