At least two people hold winning tickets for the world's largest-ever lottery jackpot of 370 million dollars, a sum that ballooned over 15 drawings with no winner.
The winning combination of 16-22-29-39-42 and the mega ball number 20 was recorded on two tickets purchased in Georgia and New Jersey, a statement on the Mega Millions website said Wednesday. The holders have not yet been identified.
Final results were not yet available due to "the unprecedented number of Mega Millions tickets purchased for the Tuesday" drawing, the officials said.

Lottery is a fraud.not because out of 390 million dollars you get 160 million after taxes. All those numbers are officially published, so no fraud about it.
Lottery is a fraud because of a much more important difference than those 230 million gap between the advertised annuity jackpot and the advertised lump-sum payout.
Lottery or in this case MEGA MILLIONS is a fraud because of the difference between 1 out of 176 million and 0 out of 176 million.

Pair Find Winning Lotto Ticket in Trash

FRANKFORT, Ind. - A couple picking up trash along a roadside found a winning scratch-off lottery ticket that led them to a $1,000 jackpot. Ronnie and Tina Abbott said they found a lottery ticket worth $15 Sunday while picking up garbage along a Clinton County road near Frankfort, about 55 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
The next day, they cashed in that ticket at a local store and bought one that turned out to be a $1,000 winner.
"It does pay to pick up trash," Tina Abbott said.

She and her husband haven't decided how they'll spend their winnings.
During their trash collection excursion, the couple also found three unopened cans of Billy Beer, a failed brand endorsed by former President Jimmy Carter's late brother, Billy Carter.
"That tells you how often it's cleaned out there," Tina Abbott said.
The couple collected 13 bags of trash and six tires over five hours Sunday. Tina Abbott said they decided to clean up the roadside because they grew tired of seeing the trash when they drove to and from their home.
